Regular Season: Finished his rookie season tied for the team lead and tied for the lead among NHL rookies in game-winning-goals (6 – T-10th in NHL)… Finished tied for fifth among all NHL rookies in goals, eighth in points (35) and assists (20)… Had eight multi-point games for the year. Scored his first multi-goal game against Pittsburgh on 1/7 scoring twice… Had three straight multi-point games (1/3-1/7) - 6 pts (3G,3A)… Named NHL’s Rookie of the Month for November on 12/2 (9pts - 4G,5A) in 12 games… Tied an NHL rookie record on 11/19 by scoring the GWG in the third straight Flyers' victory, a 3-2 win at LA… Had a four-game point streak (3G,1A) from 11/12-11/20… Had first NHL goal (also had an assist) vs. Florida on 10/24… Had first NHL point in his NHL debut at Carolina on 10/2.

CAREER
2008-09: Posted his first professional goal on April 8 in Albany… joined the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms, following the conclusion of the season at the University of New Hampshire. Collegiate Career: Led the team in scoring as a sophomore with 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 points… ranked first on the team and second in the nation with four shorthanded goals… was a plus-14 on the season and led the team in shots on goal with 138… was named to the New England Division I All-Star team and was a second team all-conference selection in Hockey East … 2007-08: named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team…Led all UNH rookies in scoring with 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points…Recorded 1.03 points per game…Had eight multiple-point games, including a career-high four points (1g, 3a) Nov. 17 at Providence…Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Jan. 14 after four points in a weekend sweep of UMass...Tallied his fourth multi-assist game in the Hockey East semifinal against Boston College when he earned two assists…Ranked 15th in assists and 22nd in points per game in the nation… ranked third on the team in scoring and fourth in Hockey East and nationally in rookie scoring…Hockey East Rookie of the Month for March…Had a +14 plus/minus rating.   2006-07: Posted a 63-point season (33 goals, 30 assists) and 81 PIM in just 42 games on the US Under-18 team… led the team in goals, points, PPG (11), and GWG (6) while finishing second overall in assists and PIM…Skated for Team USA at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Sweden.  2005-06: Split inaugural season with USA Hockey between the U-17 and U-18 team… In 42 games with the U-17 team, recorded 42 points (26 goals, 16 assists) and 62 PIM in 55 games….  In 14 games with the U-18 Team, recorded four points (one goal, three assists)… Was a member of the U-18 Team USA squad that won the gold at the IIHF World Under-18 Championships… was also an instrumental piece of the U-17 Team USA squad that won the silver medal at the 2006 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, where in seven games, notched nine points (five goals, four assists), and was subsequently named to the All-Tournament Team.
