The Philadelphia Flyers training camp kicks off Friday, September 17th, at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey. Come down and get the first look at the team on the ice and the unveiling of the NEW Flyers road jersey! There will be exciting activities Friday through Sunday and throughout training camp including:
- Friday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m. the Flyers will officially open training camp and unveil the new 2010 road jersey.
- Following the unveiling all fans will be invited to take part in the free public skate at 4pm. Play N Trade will be on-site hosting a video game center as well as the Garden State Discovery Museum with children’s activities.
- Saturday, September 18 at 9:30 a.m. the Flyers will take the ice for the first practice of training camp. Practice is open to the public.
- Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. PlayNTrade will be on-site hosting a video game center as well as the Garden State Discovery Museum with children’s activities.
- Saturday at 12:00pm the Flyers are hosting an ice cream party for our Jr. Flyers Club. Not a Jr. Flyer? Find out how to join at philadelphiaflyers.com/jrflyers.
- Saturday at 1:00pm the Flyers will hold auditions for the Ice Team. Auditions are open to the public.
- Sunday, September 19 the team will begin practice at 9:30 a.m. Practice is open to the public.
- Sunday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Play N Trade will be on-site hosting a video game center as well as the Garden State Discovery Museum with children’s activities.
- Comcast SportsNet’s taping of “Meet the Flyers” on Sunday at 2:00pm. You can be in the audience! Seating is limited and will begin at 1:30 p.m.
- Flyers merchandise is available throughout training camp, including the NEW Flyers away jersey – only available at SkateZone during training camp weekend
- Flyers inflatables and face painters throughout training camp. Also, make your own poster to cheer on your favorite Flyers!
