1. GOING STREAKING
The Flyers have posted three consecutive victories, outscoring opponents, 11-6 in that span… They have also won seven of their last eight games and have gone 10-2-1 in their last 13 games dating back to Dec. 12… On home ice, the Flyers will be looking for their 11th consecutive victory, having not lost at the Wells Fargo Center since Nov. 7… During the 10-0-0 streak at home, the Flyers have out-scored the opposition 39-17 with only three of the 10 games being decided by one goal… All 10 wins have been in regulation which is the first time they have accomplished that since a 14-game regulation home winning streak from Feb. 10-Apr. 4, 1985… Should the Flyers win tonight it would be the first time they have won 11 straight at home in over 10 years (Oct. 27-Dec. 5, 2003)… The Flyers have also killed off 19 consecutive penalties over the last six games.

2. AGAINST THE BOLTS
The Flyers meet the Lightning for the second of three times this season and first and only time on home ice… They dropped a 4-2 game on Nov. 27 where defensemen led the way for both teams - Tampa's Victor Hedman posted two goals and an assist, while Mark Streit had a goal and an assist for the Flyers… The Lightning will be without star, Steven Stamkos, who has missed the last 27 games with a broken right tibia… Overall, the Flyers own a 42-39-8-3 mark against the Lighting, including a 20-11-7-2 record at home… This is just the third time in 21 seasons, but second straight year, that the Flyers will have only played the Lightning once on home ice - the Flyers have won at least one game on home-ice against Tampa Bay in 15 out of the 20 years of play.

3. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER
Today's game is the fifth day/morning start-time for the Flyers, who own a 2-1-1 record during the day… It is also the first of games on back-to-back days - The Flyers own a 4-4-0 record in the first game… Tampa has picked up points in nine of their past 12 games, going 8-3-1 during that stretch… Braydon Coburn is the only Flyer to have played over 1,000 minutes on the ice so far this season (Giroux is 2nd at 933) - Coburn averages 22:57 of TOI per-game… The Lightning have 12 players on their current roster that have played less than 100 career NHL games, including five that have played in 50 games or less… Former Flyers d-man Matt Carle has a five-game point streak with six assists.

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Brayden Schenn (C: 10)
The younger Schenn has been on a hot-streak lately, recording at least a point in five of his last six games including four goals, two of which were game-winners… Schenn ranks fourth on the team in scoring with 28 points and third in assists (17), while being tied for the team lead (with Hartnell) in plus-minus rating (+5)… Schenn ranks second on the team with 21 of his 28 points coming at even strength… Against the Lightning, Schenn has three points, all assists, in six games against the Lightning.

5. Player to watch LIGHTNING: Ondrej Palat (LW: 18)
The 22-year-old rookie comes in with one of the highest current scoring streaks in the NHL, recording points in eight straight games with four goals and six assists for 10 points in that span… Palat has 22 points (9g-13a) appearing in all 44 games so far for the Lightning and is tied for the team lead in plus-minus (+13)… Palat has two goals in his only two games against the Flyers… He will team up with Flyers forward Jakub Voracek in the 2014 Winter Olympics after being named to the Czech Republic Team just last week.
