1. GOING FOR NINE
The Flyers currently own an eight-game winning streak on home-ice, out-scoring opponents 32-15 in that span… The last nine-game home winning streak for the Flyers came over eight years ago, from Oct. 7-Nov. 12, 2005… The last 10-game home winning streak came during the 2003-04 season from Oct. 27-Dec. 5, which turned out to be an 11-game home-winning streak… During the Flyers home-winning streak, Claude Giroux leads the team with six goals and 12 points and is a +11… The Flyers are one of seven teams in the Eastern Conference with 10 wins on home ice.

2. THE MATCHUP
The Flyers own a 6-1-0 record on home ice against the Wild and are unbeaten in regulation in the last 10 seasons against Minnesota, going 4-0-1, at home… This is the second and final meeting of the season against the Wild, after the Flyers dropped a 2-0 game on Dec. 2 at Minnesota… Minnesota comes into tonight having lost two straight games and playing the second game on back-to-back nights, after a 4-1 loss at New York against the Rangers… The Wild own a 9-6-2 record against the Eastern Conference and 4-3-1 against the Metropolitan Division, while the Flyers have a 3-6-1 record against the Western Conference, including a 2-3-1 mark against the Central Division… 

3. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER
The Flyers own a 3-4-1 record in the last eight years in games before the holiday break, while posting an overall record of 21-14-7-1 (7 ties & 1 shootout loss) in games before their holiday break… The Wild are unbeaten in regulation play when leading after the first period (8-0-1) and after the second period (14-0-3)… Wild defenseman Ryan Suter is still looking for his first goal of the season, he ranks third on the team with 21 points, all of them assists… Claude Giroux (4g-7a) has a six-game point streak, which ties his career-high, while defenseman Mark Streit (2g-3a) has a four-game point streak… The Flyers have given up only one goal on the penalty kill in their last five home games, going 13-for-14.

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Jakub Voracek - (RW) #93
Voracek looks to extend his career-high, seven-game point streak to eight games tonight… He currently has six goals and five assists for 11 points during his streak, vaulting him to second on the team in assists (14) and points (23) and tied for second in goals (9)… Against the Wild, Voracek has six assists and seven points in 12 career meetings.
 
5. Player to watch WILD: Jason Pominville - (RW) #29
Pominville has goals in two straight games for the Wild, and points in five of his last seven games… He leads the Wild with 17 goals this season and is third with 25 points… He posted the game-winning-goal in the first meeting of the year… Pominville averages nearly a point per game against the Flyers in his career, posting 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points in 29 games.
