1. END OF THE ROAD... FOR NOW
The Flyers play their sixth and final game of their 13-day road trip tonight - they have changed time zones five times over the course of the trip and will have flown 5,629 miles once they return home to Philadelphia tonight… The Blackhawks come into tonight having won two straight games by a combined score of 12-4, and have also won eight of their last 11 games… The Blackhawks are unbeaten in regulation against the Eastern Conference this year, going 8-0-2, including a perfect 3-0-0 against the Metropolitan Division… The Blackhawks play the second half of games on back-to-back nights after a 6-2 win at Dallas - they are 5-0-2 in the second game, while the Flyers play the first game of back-to-backs, taking on the Montreal Canadiens at home on Thursday - The Flyers are 2-3-0 in the first game of back-to-backs and have won the last two games in that scenario.

2. FLYERS-HAWKS
The Flyers own a record of 18-4-3 in their last 25 games against the Blackhawks dating back to the 1992-93 season… This is the first meeting in Chicago since the 2010-11 season and just the fourth meeting in the last 10 seasons at Chicago… The Flyers have won three of the last four meetings on the road against the Blackhawks, dating back to the 2002-03 season and five of the last seven in Chicago since the 1997-98 season… The Flyers don't have a good overall record against the Blackhawks in Chicago, posting a 17-27-19-0 record in 63 regular season games, but have a 55-43-30-0 mark against the Blackhawks in 128 overall contests.

3. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER
Claude Giroux has seven points, all assists, in four career games against the Blackhawks… Ray Emery is unbeaten in regulation against his former team, going 2-0-1 with a 1.99 GAA and .929 save percentage… Both Blackhawks goaltenders are currently out of the line-up due to injury (Corey Crawford & Nikolai Khabibulin) - Rookie Antti Raanta is 4-0-1 in six NHL appearances, while back-up Kent Simpson has yet to play in the NHL… Chicago is 17-0-3 when they score the first goal and a perfect 12-0-0 when leading after the first period… The Flyers are the NHL's most penalized team, ranking 30th with 17.6 minutes per-game, while the Blackhawks are the 2nd least penalized team with an average of 8.5 minutes per game… There are only four players remaining on the Flyers active roster that played in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final against the Blackhawks (Hartnell, Giroux, Coburn & Timonen), while the Blackhawks have nine players.

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Sean Couturier - (C) #14
Couturier leads the Flyers on this road trip with six points (3g-3a) in the five games, while also recording at least a point in seven of his last 11 games, posting 11 points (5g-6a) dating back to Nov. 19… This will be Couturier's second career game against the Blackhawks - he posted an assist in his only meeting.
 
5. Player to watch BLACKHAWKS: Patrick Kane - (C) #88
Patrick Kane ranks second overall in the NHL in points (40), is tied for fourth in the NHL in goals (17) and tied for second in game-winning goals (5)… He was named the NHL's First Star of the Month for November after posting a career-high 12 game point streak with 17 points (8g-9a) from Nov. 3-27… He currently has at least a point in six straight games, averaging two points-per-game in that span with 12 points (2g-10a) and has points in 18 of his last 19 games, posting 29 points (10g-19a) during that stretch.
