Hartnell-Lecavalier leave with injury
Scott Hartnell leaves Flyers-Coyotes game with injury
Flyers GM Paul Holmgren updated the status of center Vincent Lecavalier, who did not return to the game following the second period due to a lower-body injury.

"Vinny’s is a lower body issue, he’s probably going to be out at least a week as well and we will know more tomorrow on both guys once we have further evaluation."

Through two periods of play Lecavalier appeared in 12 shifts and logged a total of 12:43 of ice-time, including 2:20 of power-play time.

Prior to tonight's game against Phoenix, Lecavalier has a goal and two assists for three points, while averaging a little under 17 minutes of ice-time per game (16:50).

HARTNELL UPDATE
After the first period of Friday's Flyers-Coyotes game, general manger Paul Holmgren announced that Scott Hartnell suffered an upper-body injury and will not return to the game.

"Scott has an upper body injury probably going to keep him out for at least a week. We will know better tomorrow," added Holmgren.

Hartnell appeared in just four shifts for a total of 3:38 of ice time. Through the first four games of the season Hartnell is scoreless, while averaging just over 17 minutes of ice time per game.

Neither Hartnell or Lecavalier will travel with the team to Detroit as they take on the Red Wings on Saturday night at Joe Louis Arena.

Holmgren did state that the club will have to recall at least one player from their AHL affliate, the Adirondack Phantoms for tomorrow's contest. The Phantoms played at Hartford on Friday not, dropping a 5-4 shootout decision to the Wolf Pack.
