Flyers, Lauridsen agree to terms
6'6'', 220-pound blueliner locked up for two more years
The 24-year-old Lauridsen appeared in his first season with the Flyers, posting two goals and three points to go along with 34 penalty minutes in 15 games, while averaging just over 15 minutes of ice time.
He made his NHL debut on March 30 against the Boston Bruins.
A native of Gentofte, Denmark, Lauridsen also represented his country in the 2013 World Championships following the Flyers season.
Lauridsen was drafted by the Flyers in the seventh round (196th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, and has spent parts of the last three seasons with the club's AHL affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms after completing three years at St. Cloud State University.
The announcement comes a day after the team locked up defenseman Erik Gustafsson to a one-year deal. Both Gustafsson and Lauridsen were restricted Free Agents this summer.
