Game Preview: Phantoms at Bridgeport Sound Tigers
Adirondack Phantoms (12-14-1-0: NHL - Philadelphia Flyers)
vs.
Bridgeport Sound Tigers (13-11-1-2: NHL - New York Islanders)

1. TUNE-IN LIVE
Flyers fans can watch their top affiliate LIVE on TV beginning at 7 pm… Tonight's game will be broadcast on The Comcast Network and can be seen on channel 856 in HD… This is the second of five broadcasts and final game in the month of December… The Phantoms will be taking on the New York Islanders top affiliate.

2. THE FIRST TIME AROUND
This is the second of six meetings on the year against Bridgeport… In the first contest, Brayden Schenn (1G-2A) and Jason Akeson (3A) each posted three-point nights en route to a 5-1 Phantoms win on Nov. 21… The game also has meaning in the standings - with a Phantoms win and Connecticut Whale loss, Adirondack will move into third place in the Northeast Division, right on the heels of the second-place Sound Tigers.

3. AS CLOSE AS THEY COME
The Phantoms come into tonight's game with two victories in-a-row after a seven-round shootout win over the AHL-leading Syracuse Crunch… The Phantoms have now had five of their last six games decided by just one goal, including three games past regulation play… The Sound Tigers come in equally as hot, having gone unbeaten in regulation in their last four games, going 2-0-1-1, with all four games being decided by one goal… Bridgeport is also unbeaten in regulation in one-goal games this season, going 6-0-1-2, while the Phantoms are 7-5-1-0.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Jason Akeson
After going his last three games without a point, Jason Akeson recorded his first two goals of the season in last night's Phantoms shootout win… He now has 12 points (2G-10A) in 13 games since being recalled to Adirondack at the end of November… Despite only playing half the games, Akeson now ranks fourth on the Phantoms in scoring with his 12 points… His first game with the Phantoms this season was also against Bridgeport where he recorded three assists.

5. Player to watch SOUND TIGERS: Brock Nelson
Nelson is currently riding a three-game point streak with Bridgeport, posting four assists and six points in that three-game span… In his first full professional season out of the University of North Dakota, he ranks second on the team in scoring with 22 points (11G-11A) in 25 games… Nelson was the Islanders first-round pick (30th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
