1. PHANTOMS vs. CRUNCH
The Phantoms take on the Conference and AHL-leading Syracuse Crunch tonight for the sixth time this season… They currently own a 2-3-0-0 record, winning both of their games past regulation play… This is also the third meeting in the last two weeks between the two clubs… Adirondack comes in with a 2-2-1-0 record in their last five games, four of which have been decided by one goal… Syracuse is 3-1-0-1, winning their last three games.

2. A LOT OF PENALTY MINUTES
Tonight's match up features two of the top penalized teams in the AHL… Syracuse leads the AHL with an average of 26.2 PIMs a game, while the Phantoms are tied for fifth at 22.3 PIMs per-game… Overall the two clubs have combined for 346 penalty minutes in five games (ADK: 165 - SYR: 181), and combined for 116 penalty minutes in their last game on Dec. 14.

3. A LOT OF OFFENSE
The Crunch come into tonight's game as the highest scoring team in the AHL with 95 goals through 26 games, averaging 3.6 goals-per-game… They have four players who have at least 10 goals and five players who have at least 20 points so far this season.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn is a Crunch killer, posting four goals and nine points in his five games against Syracuse this season… He continues to lead the Phantoms in scoring with 12 goals and 27 points and currently has three goals and five points in his last five games.
 
5. Player to watch CRUNCH: Riku Helenius (G)
Helenius stopped all 21 shots he faced to blank the Phantoms in their last meeting on Dec. 14… He is 2-1-0-0 against Adirondack with a 2.00 GAA and .922 save percentage this season… The Tampa Bay Lightning's first-round pick (15th overall) in 2006 is 7-3-0-0 with a 2.83 GAA so far this season.
