On this date in 1991, Steve Duchesne recorded his first and only hat trick with the Flyers organization. His multi-point game aided the Flyers in a 6-2 win over the New York Islanders.

In his first season as a Flyer, Duchesne recorded 18 goals and 38 assists for 56 points with 86 penalty minutes in 78 games.
