2. PHANTOMS vs. ICECAPS
This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between Adirondack and St. John's and if the past three have been any indicator then it will be a close one… All three games were decided by one goal with the IceCaps owning a 2-1-0-0 record against the Phantoms so far this season… The Phantoms come into tonight's game with a 3-6-1-0 record in their last 10 games, while St. John's is 5-5-0-0.

3. SPECIAL TEAMS KEY
The Phantoms own nine of their 10 victories when they score a goal on the power play, going 9-4-1 this season… When they fail to score on the man-advantage the team has a 1-10-0 mark… The Phantoms also have not allowed a power-play goal in their last nine times shorthanded and just one goal in their last 24 times down a man… Overall, the Phantoms have the AHL's seventh best PK unit at 85.7 percent.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Tye McGinn
McGinn has three goals and four points through six games in the month of December… The 6-2, 195-pound power forward ranks second on the Phantoms squad with eight goals, half of which have come on the power play.

5. Player to watch ICECAPS: Alex Burmistrov
Burmistrov leads the IceCaps in scoring against the Phantoms, posting three points (all assists) in the three-game season series thus far… Overall he has 11 points (2G-9A) in 22 games for St. John's this season… The eighth overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers spent the last two seasons in the NHL, recording a combined 48 points (19G-29A) in 150 games.
