Game Preview: Phantoms vs. Manchester Monarchs

1. TUNE IN TONIGHT!
Flyers fans can watch their top affiliate LIVE on TV beginning at 7 pm… Tonight's game will be broadcast on The Comcast Network and can be seen on channel 856 in HD… This is the first of five broadcasts and second in the month of December with the next broadcast on Dec. 22 at Bridgeport.

2. PHANTOMS vs. MONARCHS
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs… The Phantoms won the first meeting by a score of 4-1 at Manchester, NH with Brayden Schenn leading the way with a hat trick and goaltender Cal Heeter stopping 36 of 37 shots… The Phantoms are 4-5-1-0 in the last 10 games, while the Monarchs own a 3-5-2-0 in their last 10.

3. PK POWER
The Phantoms penalty kill ranks in the Top 10 in the AHL this season at 85.4 percent, killing off 105-of-123 opportunities from their opponent… Adirondack killed off all six penalties in last night's loss to Syracuse and has allowed just one goal on the man-advantage in the last 21 opportunities… The Monarchs have the 12th-best power-play in the AHL at 16.5 percent.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn continues to lead the Phantoms in goals (11), assists (15) and points (26) in 24 games… His 26 points are also tied for fourth in the AHL… Over the course of his AHL career, Schenn has averaged over a point-per-game pace with 45 points in 38 games… Schenn is also facing his former teammates, having played for the Monarchs back in 2010-11.

5. Player to watch MONARCHS: Tyler Toffoli
Toffoli enters his first full season as a pro since being drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round (47th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft… He currently leads the Monarchs in scoring with 10 goals and ranks second on the club with 18 points in 24 games… Toffoli has posted at least a point in eight of his last 10 games.
