1. GOING THE DISTANCE
The Phantoms have appeared in three games that have gone past regulation play, two have come against the Syracuse Crunch, both of which were victories, including a shootout win in their last meeting on Dec. 8… Adirondack has had four of their last six games decided by one goal, including the last two games, both of which went past regulation.

2. AGAINST SYRACUSE
The Phantoms play their fifth of eight meetings on the year against the Crunch… Tonight is also the first of three contests against Syracuse in a two week span… Adirondack owns a 2-2-0-0 record against the Crunch, who currently stand as the best team in the Eastern Conference and second overall in the AHL with 33 points… Tonight's game also matches up two of the top penalty minutes leaders in the AHL: Syracuse (24.9 per game - 2nd), Adirondack (21.7 per game - 8th).

3. CRUNCH KILLER
Brayden Schenn has nine of his 26 points (35 percent) against the Syracuse Crunch… He has four goals and five assists in his four previous contests… In his AHL career, Schenn has scored at least one goal in four of his five total games… Schenn factored into all three goals scored in regulation, posting two goals and an assist, and recorded a shootout goal in the Phantoms' 4-3 win on Dec. 8.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Jason Akeson
As long as Akeson keeps his point streak going, he'll be the player to watch… Akeson is currently riding a six-game assist streak and since his recall to the Phantoms from the club's ECHL affiliate, the Trenton Titans, he has posted 10 points (all assists) in nine games to tie for fourth on the team in scoring.

5. Player to watch CRUNCH: Brett Connolly
Connolly has goals in three of his last four games, recording four goals and five points in that span… Against the Phantoms, he has three goals and four points in their four contests this season… Connolly was drafted sixth overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Lightning and appeared in 68 games for Tampa Bay last season recording 15 points (4G-11A).
