1. ONLY TWO
This evening's game is just one of two meetings on the year between the Phantoms and P-Bruins… Last season the teams split games with each winning on the others home ice…  Adirondack owns a 4-2-0-0 record against Providence in their last five seasons… The P-Bruins come into today's game on a two-game winning streak, both victories coming by one-goal.

2. POWER STATEMENT
The Phantoms snapped their season-high four-game winless skid last night vs. Syracuse thanks to their spectacular special teams play… After giving up all three goals in Friday night's loss to Rochester on special teams (2PPG, 1SHG), the Phantoms killed all 10 power plays the Crunch had and scored two of their three goals in regulation on the man-advantage… Overall, the Phantoms are 20-for-130 (15.4 percent) on the power play, while going 85 percent (96-for-113) on the penalty kill.

3. EYE ON THE STANDINGS
With a win today, the Phantoms could move into a tie for second place in the Northeast Division… A win would give Adirondack 22 points, and combined with a regulation loss from Connecticut and loss of any kind from Bridgeport, the Phantoms would move into second place and have more wins (11) than both the Whale and Sound Tigers.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Jason Akeson
Since his recall to the Phantoms from the club's ECHL affiliate, the Trenton Titans, Akeson has recorded nine points (all assists) in eight games, recording at least a point in seven of his eight games… He had an assist in last night's shootout win over Syracuse and is currently riding a five-game point streak.

5. Player to watch BRUINS: Niklas Svedberg (G)
The undrafted rookie netminder comes into today with a 9-4-1 record to go along with a 2.36 goals-against average and .921 save percentage… He has allowed two or fewer goals in four of his last five starts and his nine wins ties for third in the entire AHL.
