1. LIGHTING THE LAMP
The Phantoms are coming off one of their most convincing wins of the year, a 5-1 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Nov. 21, where they posted three goals on the power play and had nine different players record at least one point… Three players had multi-point games: Brayden Schenn (1G,2A), Jason Akeson (3A) and Sean Couturier (1G,1A).

2. NO (POWER) PLAYING AROUND
The Phantoms three power-play goals in their 5-1 win on Nov. 21 was the fifth time they have scored multiple goals on the man-advantage this season… The Phantoms have scored 39 percent of their goals at home on the power-play (7-of-18) and own an overall record of 7-1-0-0 when converting on the man-advantage.

3. NOT THE SAME TEAM
The Norfolk Admirals won the AHL's Calder Cup last season, however they are not comprised of the same team since the team switched their NHL affiliate (now the Anaheim Ducks)… The Admirals come into today's game having lost their last three and six of their last seven games. This is the first meeting of the season with the Phantoms.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Jason Akeson
In his first game since being recalled to the Phantoms, forward Jason Akeson recorded three points (all assists) in the club's 5-1 victory on Nov. 21 with two of the helpers coming on the power play… Akeson led the Phantoms last season in scoring with 55 points, including 41 assists… He began this season with the club's ECHL affiliate, the Trenton Titans, where he posted 10 points (2G-8A) in 14 games.

5. Player to watch ADMIRALS: Peter Holland
Holland is the Ads leading scorer with eight goals and 15 points through the team's 15 games so far this season… He has recorded at least a point in seven of his last nine games, which include six goals and nine points in that span… The Ducks' first round pick (15th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Holland ranked second on his AHL team last season, the Syracuse Crunch, in points (60) and assists (37) in 71 games.
