1. HOME SWEET HOME
The Phantoms return home for the first time in close to three weeks (18 days) having played their last game on Nov. 3 vs. Albany… The Phantoms open up a six-game homestand that will take them through Dec. 1… Adirondack has played the fewest games on home ice than any other AHL team so far this season, going 2-2-0-0 in four games.

2. POWER PLAY
The Phantoms will face their toughest opponent on the man advantage to date… The Sound Tigers rank third in the entire AHL in power-play efficiency (17-for-69) operating at 24.6 percent… Likewise, the Phantoms are strong on the power-play and effective when posting a goal on the man advantage, going 6-1-0-0 in games in which they have converted.

3. SEASON SERIES
This is the first of six meetings of the season between the two clubs with the Phantoms  going 2-4-0-0 last season… The Sound Tigers have also gone 10-6-0-2 against The Phantoms in the last five seasons.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn currently has a three game point streak, posting four goals and six points in that span… He leads the Phantoms in goals (8), assists (9) and points (17)… His 17 points are currently tied for third in the AHL in scoring.

5. Player to watch SOUND TIGERS: Nino Niederreiter (LW)
The Islanders fifth overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft leads the Sound Tigers in goals (9) which also ties for fifth in the AHL, and points (17) which is tied for third in the AHL… Niederreiter currently has an eight-game point streak in which he has posted five goals and 11 points… So far this season, he has recorded at least a point in 12 of the Sound Tigers 14 games.
