1. EARLY MORNING RISERS
The Phantoms and Monarchs face off in their first morning game in over three years in this 10 a.m. puck drop… The last morning game for the Phantoms came on Nov. 4, 2009 (a 4-2 victory over the Bridgeport Sounds Tigers)… This is the fifth straight year that the Monarchs have had a game scheduled in the morning.

2. DON'T I KNOW YOU?
Phantoms forward Brayden Schenn will face off against members of his first and only other AHL team, having played seven games for the Monarchs in 2010-11, recording three goals and four assists for the LA Kings affiliate… So far in his AHL career, Schenn has averaged over a point-per-game with 30 points (13G-17A) in 25 games.

3. BETWEEN THE TWO
This is the first meeting of the season between the two clubs… The Phantoms won the season series over the Monarchs last year, going 3-1-0, and over the last five years the Phantoms own a slight edge of 6-4-0-0 over Manchester… The Monarchs currently sit atop their Division with a 7-3-0-1 record and place third in the Eastern Conference.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Cal Heeter OR Scott Munroe
Whoever gets the call in net during the game has good numbers to show as of late… Scott Munroe has stopped 55 of 57 shots in his last two outings, going 1-1-0-0, while rookie Cal Heeter stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 2-1 victory over Rochester on Nov. 9 to pick up his second win in his last three starts.

5. Player to watch MONARCHS: Brandon Kozun
The right wing leads Manchester so far with 12 points (4G-8A) in 11 games… He began the season with a six-game point streak in which he had two goals and six assists for eight points in that span.
