Game Preview: Phantoms vs. Crunch

Flyers affiliate battles Lightning's AHL club for second straight weekend.

1. YOU AGAIN?

Tonight is the second consecutive game against the Syracuse Crunch for the Phantoms, having played them last Sunday and walking away with a 4-3 overtime win… In that game, the Phantoms came from behind to force overtime off a goal by Brayden Schenn in the last minutes of regulation… Brandon Manning would score the game winner with a power-play goal 14 seconds into overtime to give the Phantoms the victory.

2. COMEBACK KIDS
All three of the Phantoms victories this season have been come from behind wins, including two of them in the third period… The Phantoms will also be looking to score the first goal of the game for the first time this season, having allowed the first goal in all seven contests thus far.

3. PLENTY OF POWER ... PLAYS
The Crunch come into today's game as the most penalized team in the AHL, averaging 31.1 minutes per-game and totaling over 218 PIMs so far this season, compared to the Phantoms 18.1 minutes per game, ranking 14th in the AHL.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn is coming off a four-point outing after scoring a goal and adding three assists in the Phantoms 4-3 OT win at Syracuse… Schenn also leads the Phantoms with nine points (4G-5A) in seven games… Overall with the Phantoms, Schenn continues to average over a point-per game pace with 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points in 14 games.

5. Player to watch CRUNCH: Brett Connolly
Connolly averages a point-per-game for the Crunch with seven points (3G-4A) in seven games… He also has a four-game point streak, recording two goals and four assists during that stretch.
