Adirondack Phantoms (2-4-0-0: NHL - Philadelphia Flyers)
vs.
Syracuse Crunch (4-1-0-1: NHL - Tampa Bay Lightning)

1. ON THE BOARD EARLY
The Phantoms will look to get back into the win column after dropping two straight games and four of their last five outings… They have also allowed the first goal in each of their first six games of the year, while also being out-shot in each of the last two contests.

2. STAYING DISCIPLINED
The Phantoms allowed a season-high nine power-plays to their opponent in last night's game. Prior to that Adirondack had just 17 penalty kills in their previous five games combined.

3. ADMIRALS CRUNCH
The Crunch enter their first season as affiliates to the Tampa Bay Lightning, who last year had their AHL affiliate as the Norfolk Admirals, who rode a 28-game winning streak at the end of last season to shatter all professional hockey records. They followed that up by winning the 2012 Calder Cup… This year's club, now in Syracuse, currently sits atop the East Division with nine points in the standings, which is also tied for the Eastern Conference lead.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Sean Couturier
Couturier recorded two assists despite last night's loss to the Americans… He currently ranks second on the team in scoring with four points (1G-3A) and is second on the team with 21 shots through six games.

5. Player to watch CRUNCH: Cory Conacher
Second-year pro Cory Conacher leads the Crunch and is one of nine players tied for the scoring lead in the AHL with 10 points with five goals and five assists… In his rookie season he was named Rookie of the Year AND MVP of the AHL after leading all players in goals (39) and finishing second overall is scoring with 80 points, and would go on to help the Norfolk Admirals win the Calder Cup.
