Game Preview: Phantoms at Albany

1. THREE'S A CROWD
The Phantoms enter the weekend playing three games in three days. This is their first 3-in-3 out of total of 10 this season. Last season the Phantoms had a 7-5-0-0 record in the first game of 3-in-3 series.

2. SPREADING THE WEALTH
The Phantoms have scored 11 goals in their four games thus far. Adirondack has received goals from nine different players, with the only player scoring more than one goal - Brayden Schenn with 3. Phantoms captain Ben Holmstrom leads the team with three assists.

3. VS. THE A-DEVILS
This is the first of 12 meetings against Albany. The season rivalry is sponsored by Time Warner Cable, with the winner receiving the Time Warner Cable Cup. The Phantoms have won the last two years, including going 7-3-0 last year that featured three overtime wins on home-ice for Adirondack. The Adirondack Phantoms are 13-5-1 all-time against the Albany Devils.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn leads the Phantoms with three goals and five points in four games so far… He posted a goal and an assist in the Phantoms last game, a 4-3 comeback win at St. John's last weekend… Schenn also leads the team in shots (20), which also leads all AHL players who have played four games or fewer.

5. Player to watch DEVILS: Jacob Josefson
Josefson leads the Devils with three goals and four points in four games for Albany, while posting a team-best plus-4 rating… All three of his goals have come in the last two games for the Devils… Josefson appeared in 41 regular season games for New Jersey last season, recording nine points (2G-7A) and six Stanley Cup Playoff games, recording one assist.
