Flyers affiliate looks to take rematch at Winnipeg Jets affiliate

1. ABOUT LAST NIGHT
The Phantoms took a tied 1-1 game into the third period of last night's game at St. John's before the IceCaps struck midway through the period to take a lead they would not relinquish, despite the Phantoms being on the power play in the last minutes of the game. Andrew Johnston scored his first professional goal in the loss for the Phantoms with Eric Wellwood and Matt Ford getting the helpers.

2. ABOUT TONIGHT
Tonight is the second of games on back-to-back nights for the Phantoms, who opened their season last weekend with back-to-back games, dropping the second half of the series. Last season, Adirondack held a record of 20-17-0-0 in the later game played on consecutive nights.

3. ADK PK PLAY
The Phantoms currently rank fifth in the AHL on the penalty kill with a 92.3 percent kill rate. They have allowed just one goal on the opponents man advantage on 13 opportunities through their first three games, including stopping the last eight times they have been down a man.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Through the first three games of the season, Schenn leads the Phantoms in goals (2) and points (3), while also leading the team with 16 shots on goal, which is also tied for third in the entire AHL. He posted seven shots on goal in the club's 2-1 loss on Friday.

5. Player to watch ICECAPS: Eddie Pasquale
The man between the pipes for the IceCaps stopped 32 of 33 shots, including all 11 thrown at him in the third period by the Phantoms to earn a 2-1 win. Drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round (117th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Pasquale is 1-1-0-0 this season for St. John's posting a 2.54 GAA and .924 save percentage.
