vs.
St. John's IceCaps (2-1-0-0: NHL - Winnipeg Jets)

1. ABOUT LAST NIGHT
The Phantoms took a tied 1-1 game into the third period of last night's game at St. John's before the IceCaps struck midway through the period to take a lead they would not relinquish, despite the Phantoms being on the power play in the last minutes of the game. Andrew Johnston scored his first professional goal in the loss for the Phantoms with Eric Wellwood and Matt Ford getting the helpers.

Tonight is the second of games on back-to-back nights for the Phantoms, who opened their season last weekend with back-to-back games, dropping the second half of the series. Last season, Adirondack held a record of 20-17-0-0 in the later game played on consecutive nights.

3. ADK PK PLAY
The Phantoms currently rank fifth in the AHL on the penalty kill with a 92.3 percent kill rate. They have allowed just one goal on the opponents man advantage on 13 opportunities through their first three games, including stopping the last eight times they have been down a man.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Through the first three games of the season, Schenn leads the Phantoms in goals (2) and points (3), while also leading the team with 16 shots on goal, which is also tied for third in the entire AHL. He posted seven shots on goal in the club's 2-1 loss on Friday.
