FIVE THINGS: Phantoms at Falcons
ADIRONDACK PHANTOMS (Philadelphia Flyers)
vs.
SPRINGFIELD FALCONS (Columbus Blue Jackets)

1. LOOKING TO GO 2-0
Both teams won their season opening games and will be looking for a second straight win in today's matinee game. The two play in the Northeast Division and finished with the same amount of points last season (78), but the Phantoms held the edge with 37 wins over Springfield's 36.

2. THE LAST TWO YEARS
Adirondack has had the Falcons number over the past two seasons, going a combined 5-1-0-0, including 3-1-0-0 last season and outscoring Springfield, 12-7

3. ON THE ROAD
Today's game marks the first of a four-game road trip, and stretch of five out of their next six games away from Glens Falls. The Phantoms went 14-21-2-1 on the road last season.

4. Player to watch PHANTOMS: Brayden Schenn
Schenn took over the third period in last night's Phantoms-Pirates game posting two goals, and when all was said and done, added an assist for a three-point night to go along with a plus-1 rating. Overall in his career with the Phantoms, Schenn has recorded eight goals and 15 points in eight games.

5. Player to watch FALCONS: Tim Erixon
The 23-year old defenseman appeared in 18 games with the New York Rangers last season, and led the team defense and ranked third on the AHL's Connecticut Whale with 30 assists. In his first game with Springfield, Erixson posted two assists. He was traded by the Rangers to the Columbus Blue Jackets this past summer.
