Holmgren and Classic Cake to unveil specially made cupcake to benefit Comcast Spectacor Charities
Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Paul Holmgren, along with his wife Doreen, will unveil a special Comcast-Spectacor Charities Cupcake at Classic Cake (480 Evesham Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey) during their annual community fundraiser on Friday, September 14 beginning at 3 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from the featured cupcake will benefit Comcast-Spectacor Charities throughout the month of September.
Holmgren will mingle with patrons and sign autographs at the event, which also includes cake decorating, face painting and several giveaways.
Flyers Charities, a division of Comcast-Spectacor Charities, has contributed $25 million to charity since 1977. The funds raised during the annual Flyers Wives Carnival and other Comcast-Spectacor Charities fundraising events have helped support hundreds of non-profit organizations throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. Comcast-Spectacor Charities prides itself on helping support not just one but a multitude of worthy non-profit organizations that benefit everything from important healthcare initiatives such as: heart health and stroke and cancer awareness to various youth recreation programs and plenty more.
