2012 Trial on the Isle set for July 11
Flyers prospects return to Jersey beaches for annual event

Get ready to hit the beach!
On Wednesday, July 11, Flyers prospects will make the trek down to the South Jersey shore to compete in the team's annual "Trial on the Isle".
Last year Flyers prospects competed in their annual mini-triathlon in Stone Harbor, N.J. which included a bike race, followed by paddle-boarding in the bay before finishing up with a mile run along the streets.
The 2012 edition will feature an all-new look to the event, however fans will still have an opportunity to watch future Flyers in action as well a chance to get autographs.
Additional details and a full schedule of the day's events will be announced at a later time, but for now, take a look into the Flyers Video Archives and relive past 'Trials' featuring James van Riemsdyk, Claude Giroux and other Flyers as rookies...
