DAYS 20-25: READ ABOUT THE LOSING END

Well last night was a new for me in the fact that I've only been on the part of winning overtime games.

Losing one really isn't easy to take at all, but a loss is a loss and you have to learn from those games; learn what went wrong. Losing a game in overtime or losing a game 10-3 at the end of the night is the same thing because you need to start getting prepared for the next game.

It was kind of a quiet bus ride home, but it's nice to come back home in between games since the two teams are close to each other in distance.

We found out around 1 a.m. when we got back to the Skatezone that today was a complete day off from the rink.

That's kind of unusual for me because even on days when we don't have practice I usually go to the rink for a quick workout just to hang out for a little bit.

I didn't do either today, so it's kind of different in the fact that I don't really know what to do.

It's a nice day out, so I took care of a lot of errands. I'll probably just go out to eat with a few guys from the team and call it a night.

We're nine games into the playoffs now and over three weeks old. I'm starting to see how different it is from the regular season.

We're playing pretty much every other day and we're playing the same team with the same players on the other side.

It's interesting because everybody starts to get to know everybody else's tendencies out on the ice, so as the series progresses it gets tougher and tougher to make the same plays. You can really see how the rivalries develop though with everybody getting and trying to get under people's skin.

Both the body and the mind really get exhausted and that's when rest is really the key and you try to relax as much as you can to focus on the next game.
