\"Read\" about a break between series

DAY 14: Apr. 24

Well, the pork tenderloin turned out very well. The guys were happy. No one got sick from it so I'm looking at is as a success. After dinner we didn't do anything but watch the Rangers-Senators game.

In the morning I got up and did my usual routine: wake up around 8 a.m., immediate throw on the Country Music Television channel to watch and listen to country music while I cook myself breakfast and coffee. Breakfast that morning was a bowl of cereal and toast, but I usually change it up everyday with either eggs, pancakes, fruit or a smoothie.

I should mention though, my morning routine for off-days and game-days are different.

Depending on what time practice is, I get to the rink early to just kind of lounge around and hang out with the guys in our dressing room to watch TV which is usually the NHL network to catch up on highlights.

Later that night I went to dinner at R2L - the restaurant on the 37th floor at Two Liberty Place with my girlfriend, then we went to a play at the Walnut Street Theatre to see God of Carnage.

I really liked it. The whole experience was pretty neat.

Today was pretty much the same thing and same routine. I'm getting a little anxious on wanting to know who we're playing.

When you don't know, you just go through housekeeping things like keep working on the little things you need to improve. It's hard to prepare for anything specific when it could be any one of the teams still playing.
