Flyers recall Bacashihua
Phantoms goaltender recalled on emergency conditions

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have recalled 5-11, 175-lb goaltender Jason Bacashihua (buh-KAH-shoo-wuh) from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
Bacashihua will wear #33 for tonight’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs (7pm, CSN, 94 WIP).
Bacashihua, 29 (9/20/82), signed with the Flyers as a free agent last summer. He has appeared in 17 games for Adirondack this season, recording a 7-6-1 record with a 2.98 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage.
Bacashihua appeared in 38 NHL games for the St. Louis Blues from 2005-07, going 7-17-4 with a 3.19 GAA. He has appeared in 292 AHL games over a 10-year career and has a record of 129-125-22 with a 2.74 GAA, .907 save percentage and 19 shutouts. He won a Calder Cup in 2010 with the Hershey Bears.
