Flyers Trade Powe; Acquire Draft Pick

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have acquired the Minnesota Wild’s third-round pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for C Darroll Powe, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
Powe, 26 (6/22/85), signed with the Flyers in 2007 as an undrafted free agent out of Princeton University. In 204 career NHL games with the Flyers, he posted 22 goals and 21 assists for 41 points along with 130 PIM.

In other news, the Flyers have also extended Qualifying Offers to the following players: Jonathon Kalinski, Wayne Simmonds and Jakub Voracek.
