A native of Vienna, Austria, Nodl was originally selected by the Flyers in the second round (39th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and signed an entry level contract with the Flyers on Apr. 4, 2008.

Ross, 27, has one goal and six assists for seven points in 15 games with Adirondack this season. Last season, he made his NHL debut with the Flyers, going scoreless in 10 regular season appearances, and recorded one goal in six Stanley Cup Playoff games.

His 69 points led the team, while his 29 goals tied for the team lead and 40 assists ranked second. He also led the Phantoms with a plus/minus rating of +17.

Selected to the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic in Worcester, Massachusetts, Ross was named Most Valuable Player of the AHL All-Star Game on Jan. 26 after he recorded a goal and six assists for seven points with PlanetUSA. His six assists and seven points are AHL records.
