Schultz appeared in 297 regular season games and 61 Stanley Cup Playoff games during a five-year career with the Flyers (1971-72 through 1975-76) and was a member of the 1974 and 1975 Flyers Stanley Cup Championship teams.
He recorded 51 goals and 64 assists for 115 points in the regular season, including 1,386 penalty minutes, which ranks fifth all-time in Flyers history. In 1974-75, Schultz recorded 472 penalty minutes in 76 games with the Flyers to set an NHL record for most penalty minutes in one season. In 61 playoff games with the Flyers, Schultz recorded 16 points (7G,9A) and 363 penalty minutes, which rank first in Flyers history.
