On this date in 2005, the team welcomed the 25-millionth fan in team history prior to the game. Bill Logan of Langhorne, Pa. was honored as the 25-millionth fan to attend a Philadelphia Flyers game.
He was showered with confetti and greeted by Ed Snider and was a guest on Comcast SportsNet’s Coatsey’s Corner during intermission.
He was given a team signed jersey, Lacman watch valued at just under $1,000, flat screen television, round- trip airfare from Southwest Airlines, accommodations for an eight day, seven night stay in Florida which included passes to Universal Orlando and SeaWorld, catered balcony suite for a future Flyers game, Meet-and-Greet in the Flyers locker room after the game, limousine ride and dinner for four in Victors Club for a future Flyers game. He also got to attend Flyers Head Coach Ken Hitchcock’s post game conference at a future Flyers game.
