Flyers Hall of Famer Brian Propp posted a hat trick for the Flyers, scoring all three goals while on the power play. Tim Kerr and Pelle Eklund each posted a four point night (1G,3A). One of Kerr's goals was on the power play, in which he ended leading the team with 25 power-play goals scored that season.
Overall, 10 of the 13 goals scored in the game came while on the power play as the Flyers scored six goals in 11 attempts and Minnesota scored four goals in 12 attempts.
