June 24, 2001...Flyers Draft Seven Players In Second Day Of Draft

Dennis Seidenberg posted 41 points (13G,28A) and a +18 rating in 79 regular season games for the Phantoms this past season.
On this date in 2001, the Flyers selected seven players on the second day of the NHL Entry Draft (Rounds Four through Nine).

Of the seven players selected, defensemen Dennis Seidenberg (sixth round, 172nd overall) and David Printz (seventh round, 225th overall) have already played for either the Flyers or the Phantoms.

In addition to the draft picks, the Flyers made five trades, involving 13 draft picks and one player (Dean McAmmond to the Calgary Flames). After the trades, the Flyers had acquired four additional choices for the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
