June 20, 1992...Flyers Trade For Eric Lindros
| Eric Lindros was originally drafted by the Quebec Nordiques with the first overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. |
Issues involving the trade led to an arbitration hearing involving Quebec, the Flyers and the New York Rangers. Arbitrator Larry Bertuzzi awarded the Flyers the rights to Lindros on June 30.
In addition to making the trade, the Flyers also selected 10 players in the draft. Of the 10 players selected, only left wing/defenseman Jason Bowen played for the Flyers. He appeared in 73 regular season games over five seasons (1992-93 through 1996-97).
