On this date in 1995, the Flyers lost to the Devils in New Jersey, 4-2, in Game Six of the Eastern Conference Finals. With the win, the Devils won the series, four games to two, and advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The loss ended the Flyers' five-game winning streak on the road (from Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on May 12 through Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals on June 10), which set a new team record for longest winning streak on the road in the playoffs.
