June 12, 2002...Flyers Trade Brian Boucher

On this date in 2002, the Flyers traded goaltender Brian Boucher and Nashville's third round pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for center Michal Handzus and goaltender Robert Esche.
















Michal Handzus set a new career high for
   points in a season with 58 (20G,38A)
            during the 2003-04 season.
