He would finish the season with 89 assists, which is still the team record. The assist also gave Clarke a point in his 13th consecutive game. His streak would reach a team-record 18 games.

The win also ended the Canadiens' 24-game undefeated streak on the road, which is still the NHL record for longest road undefeated streak.
