Center Eric Lindros was one of four players for the Flyers to score at least a goal in the game. Lindros scored three goals. Kevin Dineen and John LeClair each posted two goals and Rod Brind'Amour scored a shorthanded goal.
For Lindros, the hat trick was his second in two games. He became just the second player in team history to record a hat trick in consecutive games. Lindros had scored three goals in the Flyers' 4-3 win against the Panthers in Florida on March 18.
The first player in Flyers history to record a hat trick in consecutive games was Rick Tocchet who registered a hat trick at Los Angeles on February 27 and at Vancouver on March 1, 1988.
