                                              Dan McGillis
On this date in 1999, the Flyers defeated the Montreal Canadiens at the First Union Center, 5-2. The win was part of an eventual eight-game undefeated streak (6-0-2) and part of a stretch which saw the Flyers lose only once in 24 games (16-1-7).
