Both Downie and Timonen remain day-to-day with upper-body injuries.
Timonen has posted back-to-back two point games, including a goal and an assist, as well as 19:52 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Bruins.
Since returning from the Olympic break, where he helped Finland win a bronze medal, Timonen has averaged nearly a point per game with 10 assists and 13 points in 14 games.
He leads the Flyers defense in assists (27) and ranks second with 32 points and has a plus-minus rating of +7 through 71 regular season games.
Downie has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury he suffered vs. St. Louis on Mar. 22. He has 17 points (3g-14a) in 49 games since coming over to the Flyers from the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 31.
