1. TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

This is the third and final meeting of the season against the Senators as the two teams will have played the season series in a one-month span… The Flyers won the first two meetings by a combined score of 10-2… Five Flyers have recorded three points in the two meetings this season, while Steve Mason won both starts by stopping 58 of 60 shots for a .966 save percentage… Nine different Flyers have scored a goal in the season series thus far - Jakub Voracek is the only Flyer to have scored twice… The Flyers have gone 3-for-7 (42.9%) on the power-play against the Senators this season… The Flyers have won two straight and own an 15-17-6-2 record at Ottawa, while owning a 38-29-8-4 overall mark against the Senators.

2. WHO'S IN-WHO'S OUT

Vincent Lecavalier will be out of the line-up for 3-4 weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his lower back… He leads the team on the power-play with five goals and is tied for the team lead in overall goals (9), and tied for third in points (14) in 22 games… Defenseman Kimmo Timonen is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury… The Ottawa Senators have no current injuries and have just 15 man-games lost this season compared to the Flyers who have 76 man-games lost, which includes Chris Pronger and Marc-Andre Bourdon.

3. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER

Ottawa has just three wins in their last 11 games, going 3-7-1… The Senators are one of two teams in the NHL in which their leading scorer is a defenseman as Erik Karlsson leads the club with 28 points (8g-20) in 30 games (MTL's PK Subban is the other)… The Flyers are 6-7-0 in games that follow a loss… The Senators are currently in the midst of playing 11 of their next 14 games on home-ice beginning with their 3-2 SO loss to Toronto on Dec. 7, while the Flyers are in the middle of playing 14 of 18 games on the road starting on Nov. 30 at Nashville… Scott Hartnell has eight (3g-5a) of his 11 points this season on the road.

4. Player to watch FLYERS: Jakub Voracek - (RW) #93

Voracek's game seems to come alive against the Senators… He has two goals and three points in the two meetings this season and over his career, he has six goals and 11 points in 12 meetings against Ottawa… Voracek has not recorded a point for seven straight games, it is his longest drought as a Flyer and first since Mar. 17-Apr. 9 (13-games) as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

5. Player to watch SENATORS: Clarke MacArthur - (LW) #16

Not only has MacArthur factored into both Senators goals against the Flyers this season with a goal and an assist, he has recorded a point in five of his last six games, posting six points (3g-3a) in that span… He also has six of his nine total goals on the season in his last 10 games for the Sens, while ranking fourth on the team in scoring with 23 points in 29 games… Against the Flyers he has 12 assists and 16 points in 21 career games.

QUOTABLE

"[They have] good goaltending, mobile defensemen and good forwards so we obviously can't take them lightly even though beaten them a couple games this season and we know they're going to come out hard."

- Brayden Schenn
