1. DEVIL DOWN IN PHILLY

This is the second meeting between the two clubs in less than a week - the Flyers took the first meeting, at NJ, by a 1-0 victory with Ray Emery stopping all 14 shots he faced… The Flyers have had a lot of success on home ice against the Devils, going 9-3-1 in the last five years… The Flyers have a 49-35-9 mark and .575 winning percentage in Philadelphia against the Devils, despite an overall losing mark of 78-94-15 against the Devils… New Jersey opens up the first of back-to-back games tonight - they are 0-2-1 in first game.

2. SPECIAL TEAMS

Grossmann is scheduled to play in his 400th career game in the NHL tonight… He leads the team in blocked shots with 40, which also tied for 6th in the NHL, and is second on the team with 44 hits… Grossmann also ranks third on the team (second among D-men) in shorthanded time-on-ice, averaging 3:25 per game… He has four points on the season, all assists, which have come in the last eight games.

5. Player to watch DEVILS: Jaromir Jagr - (C) #68

Jagr is the Devils leading scorer this season with 10 points (3g-7a)… He also is tied for the team lead in plus-minus (+2)… Jagr is two points shy of 1,700 career points in the NHL, a feat accomplished by only seven players in NHL history… Jagr is the NHL's active career leader in goals (684), assists (1,014) and points (1,698)… Against the Flyers, Jagr has 107 points (40g-67a) in 87 games.
