The Philadelphia Flyers announced today their seven-game exhibition schedule to be played prior to the start of the 2013-14 season.

The Flyers will open their preseason on Sunday, September 15 with a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Global Spectrum-managed Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. It’s the ninth time the Flyers have hosted a preseason game in London, and the third time against the Maple Leafs. Overall, the club has a 4-2-2 record in London.

"London really is a great hockey town with enthusiastic and passionate fans," said Comcast-Spectacor President and Global Spectrum Chairman Peter Luukko. "We enjoy visiting the Budweiser Gardens every preseason to play in front of these die-hard hockey fans. We can't wait to get back to London and face off against the Leafs this fall."

On Monday, September 16, the Flyers will split their squad to play two games on the same evening. Half of the training camp roster will host the Washington Capitals at the Wells Fargo Center, while the other half will travel to Toronto to visit the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.
